Selling

This will just be quick - we started posting things on craigslist today. We are starting with the things that will make the least difference in how our home shows - I started by listing our storage shed and the bistro chairs on the front porch:

In other news, we showed the house again 3 times yesterday and got another offer this morning. It was higher than the first, and luckily the realtor who had sent over the first offer had told us that the buyers LOVED our house. Our realtor called their realtor as soon as we got the second offer and now they are working on their "highest and best" offer. Yahoo! Let the buyers bargain with each other instead of with us...love it.

UPDATE: We just got another call - 2 more showings late this afternoon...

About Our Adventure

We are a young family...in our twenties with a one-year-old, a new baby on the way (due in October 2010), and a 3-year-old Pomeranian. We spent the first 3 years of our marriage doing a pretty good job of getting into debt. A long hard stare at our spending habits and budget told us we needed to make some big changes.

So in May 2010 we got rid of our house, our financed car and everything we owned that we wouldn't need for RV living and replaced it all with a 38' (1989) King of the Road fifth wheel, a '95 Chevy Silverado 3500 and an atlas or two (all paid for with cash...even the atlases).

Are we crazy? We're not sure yet. We plan to be on the road for a couple of years (depends how long we last in cramped quarters), and hope to be as honest and un-sugar-coated as possible.

Our situation has changed in every way - financially, emotionally and lets be honest, spacially. :) Hope you enjoy reading about our adventure as much as we enjoy living it!!
